Halloween makeup for glasses wearers
Halloween makeup has always big in America and it is constantly increasing here in the UK. What I’ve noticed over the years is that you don’t really see a lot of pictures of halloween makeup with people wearing glasses. So many people across the globe wear glasses, it’s important that there are some halloween looks that are more suitable for those who wear glasses. That’s why I’ve put together this post to show simple halloween makeup for glasses weares that are fun and werable.
Not so scary scarecrow
This look is very simple to create very weareable for people with glasses. The eye look is a basic wash of orange all over the lid, with white eyeliner in the lower waterline and big fluttery lashes like the Ardell Baby Wispies. You could easily add more details if you wanted to, like additional patches, wires or flowers.

Harlequin nice to meet ya
Harlequine is a very popular halloween makeup look. There are so many variations of this look you could do. The stand out feature of this look is the colours. Blue on one side and red on the other. I had so much fun creating this look, becuase I could be playful and I didn’t have to be precise.

Queen of hearts
I wanted to keep this look quite simple. There are plenty of options to go over the top with the makeup including; fake blood and playing cards. You could even copy the makeup of the red queen from 2010’s Alice in Wonderland, played by Helena Bonham Carter. This is where I got the inspiration from, for the blue eyes.

What a bloody mess
You can be as experimental as you like with this look. The placement of blood is entirely up to you. You can even use different tones of red to create the effect of dried blood. I wasn’t too sure on this look, but friends and family persuaded me to share it.

Makeup is for everyone, it should be inclusive. There are also no rules with makeup, which I love. You can be as creative as you want. This is what makes makeup so fun. It’s so important that there is a representation of glasses wearers in the beauty industry. I will continue to create makeup looks that are wearable for people with glasses and I hope there will be more pictures of people with glasses wearing makeup in the future.
