Fragrance boxes have significantly grown in demand over the past year, they give you a chance to try perfumes before taking the plunge and purchasing a new fragrance. Scentful Review – The fragrances
In the box that I recieved ‘September edition’ you get the purfumes Michael Kors – Wonderlust and Roberto Cavalli – Nero Assoluto. I hadn’t tried either of these scents, so it was nice to try out some new fragrances. Both fragrances come in glass vials and sprays out a decent volume from the nozzle with ease.

Firstly Wonderlust by Michael Kors, this is marketed as an oriental fragrance. With top notes of almond milk, pink pepper and burgamot. The heart notes are of heliotrope and dianthus and base notes of benzoin and sandalwood. This was my favourite scent out of the two. I found this to be a warm floral scent. It is very potent and summery, it makes me think of going for an evening meal on holiday. It’s definetly a heavier scent than I prefer. I’m really fussy with fragrance, but I did like this one. It also lasted really well on me, I could still smell it when I went to bed. The Michael Kors Wonderlust Eau de Parfum comes in 3 sizes: 30ml for Β£49.00*, 50ml for Β£70.00* and 100ml for Β£95.00*
Nero Assoluto by Roberto Cavalli is a woddy floral scent. This is a more simple fragrance, the top note is orchid, the heart is black vanilla and the base note is ebony wood. It is sweet, probably because of the vanilla. It reminds me a bit of J’adore by Dior. This is more of a ‘grown up’ scent, deep and glamorous. If I was to wear this, I’d wear it as an evening fragrance. The scent is strong when you first put it on and then it goes soft. This scent lasted well on me, but becomes less noticable throughout the day ( it isn’t as strong as Wonderlust) This sent doesn’t seem to be as widely available as Wonderlust. The retail price is Β£67.00 but you can purchase it from the Perfume shop for 29.99 for 75ml*
Is Scentful worth it?
If you are a fragrance addicted or get bored easy and like to try out new fragrances on a regular basis, I’d definetly consider getting a subscription box. You could even use a fragrance subscription box to help you find the perfect scent for your wedding day. You get a reasonable volume of fragrance and they are all from designer brands. The experience of a Scentful subscription box is exciting, it offers you variety but every month is a new surprise. Ultimately only you can decide if Scentful suits you and your lifestyle, but they are definetly a fab choice.
Have you tried any subscription boxes?
