French Beauty Haul
I’ve just come back from holiday and I knew the first thing I wanted to share with you guys is all the beauty purchases I made.
I don’t think I have ever been that excited to go on a shopping trip in my life. I knew before I left for France that there would be a Sephora near where I was staying, so this started off my major excitement and I was looking on the website and searching for blog posts for Sephora hauls. I was also looking forward to going into a few pharmacies. My family have always had a joke with me about the pharmacies in France. When I was younger on my holidays in France I questioned why there was so many pharmacies and would always shout ‘pharmacy’ really loudly every time I saw one. Now every time we pass one my family always tease me and say ‘there’s Charlotte’s pharmacy’. I noticed on this holiday there is normally two pharmacies in each village or town.
So the first thing I picked up was this shower gel from Bourjois?! I found it one of the local supermarkets. I’ve seen a lot of different products from Bourjois but I have never seen any body products from them before. Is this a new thing, or just in France?

During the holiday we made a day trip to Montpelier and there was a huge shopping center there. This is where I found the holy grail Sephora. Walking in it was so overwhelming and magical. I had a browse at all the stands but was more focused on finding the two products I had been lusting for. Nars Sheer Glow and the Beauty Blender.

The staff there didn’t speak much English but the girl who served me gave me two samples of perfume.

The next place I went to was Parasho which was like a French version of superdrug. It was so cute and had some amazing brands there. A lovely member of staff who spoke English asked me a lot of questions about my skin and was explaining about the different products suitable for my skin type. I ended up buying the La Roche Posay Serozinc which I’ve heard a lot of good things about. I was given a sample of the Laboratories Novexpert Paris Booster with Vitamin C which I’m intrigued to try.

So after leaving the center of Montpelier we headed back to where we parked and there was another shopping center where there was another Sephora! This time I was with my mum and sisters so I was able to have more have a proper look round. There was this lovely lady who helped me. She spoke a little English and we used google translate. I ended up purchasing the Sephora Double Duty exfoliator and mask, the Sephora Multitasker Complexion brush and the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in the shade 05 Infinite Rose.

I was also given samples with these purchases too. I got the Sisley gentle eye and lip makeup remover, the Clinique smart custom-repair eye treatment, the Sisley soir de lune body cream, the Decleor moistursing body milk and The Clarins beauty ritual for perfectly moisturized skin gift set, which includes; HydraQuench intensive serum, Moisture replenishing lip balm and Gentle exfoliator brightening toner.

Finally my mum bought me a couple of items from Sephora. She got me the Sephora Pearl Eye Mask for perfecting and brightening and a Sephora eye shadow in the shade Flirting game.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping trip in France and am really pleased with all the beauty products I got.
I look forward to sharing some reviews with you!
