Beauty products I’ve loved during lockdown

Today I thought I’d share a few of the beauty products I’ve loved during lockdown. During lockdown we’ve had a mixture of weather and I’ve also spent more time on self care. I’ve already written a post, where you can read about my favourite products for a perfect pamper session. The beauty products I’ve loved during lockdown include makeup, skincare, body care and hair products.

Kiehls Ultra Light Daily UV Defense*

Throughout lockdown we’ve had some lovely sunny spells here in the UK, so this product has really had some usage. You should use SPF everyday, no matter the weather but as it’s been especially sunny I’ve been reaching for a higher factor. This SPF is factor 50 and is a lightweight non-greasy facial cream. I love it because it absorbs really quickly and doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin like some SPF’s do. I’ve also found that because it’s so lightweight, I can wear it underneath makeup as well.

Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid*

Hyaluronic Acid is a really fab ingredient to have in your skincare routine. It absorbs and retains moisturiser which helps your skin stay hydrated. This one from Good Molecules is really effective as it has 3 forms of hyaluronic acid to penetrate different layers of the skin. I use this regularly in my skincare routine and also if my skin is feeling a bit dry and lack lustre throughout the day. It makes my skin look and feel really juicy and plumped. Palmolive Naturals Coconut Shower Milk

As I mentioned we’ve had some warmer weather and although we’ve not been able to go on holiday because of lockdown, I’ve still been able to get that holiday smell and it’s all down to this product! I hate the taste of coconut but I absolutely love the smell of this shower gel and it reminds me so much of being on holiday. Probably because it’s made with 100% natural coconut extract. Another reason why I love it is because it leaves my skin super soft. I am very picky with my body care products as my skin is sensitive, but this doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical – Coconut & Exotic*

Dry shampoo is a staple hair care product for a lot of people, especially for those whose hair gets greasy easily, like mine. I try not to wash my hair too often, but for those days in between, dry shampoo is a must. I love the smell of this one, again it’s coconut. I think there is a theme here, must have something to do with the warmer weather.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer*

I’ve been loving this concealer. It’s really lightweight and brightening under the eye. It blends really well and covers up my dark circles. I am not a fan of the applicator but I don’t think many people who have tried this concealer are. Read my Maybelline Concealer Anti Age Review 

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter*

This is a product I have been loving for a while now and just can’t get enough of. It such a gorgeous multi-use product. I have been using it loads throughout lockdown, on makeup and non-makeup days.
