Everyone loves a pamper session right? It’s nice to have some much needed ‘me time‘ and unwind from everything that is going on around you. So I thought I’d gather some fellow beauty bloggers together for a collaboration post. Myself along with the lovely ladies, have written posts about our favourite pamper products. The other bloggers are Charlotte, Kyra and Alice. Here are my favourite Products for a Perfect Pamper Session.

Perfect Pamper Session Products

First things first, I like to get my essentials ready. Whether it’s a cheesy film, music or a good book. My favourite chick flicks to watch are; The Princess Diaries, Wild Child or anything Mary Kate and Ashely. Also snacks, for me nothing beats a big bar of dairy milk. Now on to the products.

Face masks

I love to multi mask. I usually use a clay mask on my t zone especially around my nose and mouth as that’s where I get most blemishes. One of my favourite clay masks is the Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask*, which has naturally active ingredients such as green clay and munuka honey. It is quite a thick consistency and dries up after about 10 mins on the skin. I like it as it feels like it’s really drawing out the impurities. On the rest of my face I like to use something a little more hydrating. I also love a good sheet mask like the Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask or Garnier Moisture Bomb Face Sheet Mask.

Treatments

Depending on how I am feeling I might use a treatment device. If my skin is feeling especially congested I’ll use my PMD Personal Microderm device, which helps my skin look brighter and feel smoother.

I also love to use my Foreo UFO device. I love the temperature technology, it is very soothing on the skin and the pulsations changing frquency across my skin feels relaxing and rejuvenating. It truly is a luxurious facial, you can read more of why I love it in my Foreo UFO Smart Mask review.

Exfoliate. Moisturise. Tan.

Exfoliating, moisturising and fake tanning are all steps that can be included in a pamper session. For exfoliating I’ve always used one of the Soap & Glory ones, such as the Sugar Crush Body Scrub* or The Scrub Of Your Life Body Scrub*.

Moisturising is the one thing I don’t do enough of. I love the feeling of super soft skin after I’ve done it, but I hate the process. Especially if the body lotion takes too long to sink in. Previously I have used the Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter* and Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion*. If anyone has any suggestions for a non sticky, quick absorbing body lotion, send them my way.

As for fake tan, it’s not something I do all that often. But when I do I use the Norvell Venetian Gradual Self Tanning Lotion. It gives a nice bronzed glow, without looking like an oompa loompa or a wotsit (cheese puff). I’ve shared my thoughts on my Norvell Tan review post.

Other things I love for a pamper session are; a nice bubble bath, candles, an eye mask, foot pack and fresh bed sheets.
