Throughout the spring months I really like to do light and fun makeup looks. I took inspiration from some of the pretty colour flowers in my garden at the moment, such as daffodils and tulips. Keep reading to find out how I created a pretty Spring Makeup Look.

To start I took a light pink matte shade (shade 32 from the Revolution Maxi Reloaded Palette*) all over the lid to create a nice wash of colour as a base. Next, I used a deeper pink matte shade (shade 10 from the Revolution Maxi Reloaded Palette) in a v shape on the outer corner and crease. I kept packing on colour and then blending it out with a big fluffy brush.

Once I was happy with the pigmentation I moved on to a pink/coral shimmer shade (shade ‘sweet allure’ from the PS… Velvet Rose Eyeshadow Palette) and placed that on the center of my lid with my finger.

Using a clean fluffy brush, I lightly swiped a pale matte yellow shade (shade 18 from the Revolution Maxi Reloaded Palette) over the inner corner and blended upwards and outwards to connect the shades together.

Dipping back into the deeper pink shade I gently placed some on my outer lower lash line. Then going back to the original light pink shade, swept some across my brow bone.

Using my Rimmel Scandal’Eyes Waterproof* nude eyeliner, I lined my lower waterline. I then took my Kat Von D tattoo liquid* eyeliner and applied a thin line across my lash line. For my mascara I used the Too Faced Better Than Sex* Mascara on both my top and bottom lashes.

To add that extra flutter, I applied some Ardell Self-Adhesive Double Demi Wispies false eyelashes.

For the rest of my face I used the natural finish Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Foundation and the IT cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye concealer*. To add a pop of colour to the cheeks, I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay blusher* in the shade ‘Dollface’.

I used the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette* for bronzer. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter* for Highlighter and the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder* to set my makeup.

I ran a little bit of the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows brow gel* in the shade ‘Linda’ through my brows. Lastly I applied some of the Max Factor Colour Elixir Cushion* in shade 025 to my lips.

Spring Makeup Look

As you can see I create a really light and pretty makeup look, perfect for spring. I loved using the gorgeous Ardell Demi Wispies* lashes for a more fluttery look.
