First impressions of MAC Swansea
It used to be a luxury for me to go to a MAC counter. The closest one was in Cardiff and I would hardly ever go there. It would be a big planned shopping trip. Until I recently found out MAC have launched a counter in Debenhams Swansea store.

I was shopping in Swansea with my mum, sisters and cousin and dragged them to the counter, for me to have a nose at all the gorgeous products. Lucky for me I had a gift card to spend, so knew I had to pick up a new lipstick. I swatched so many shades it was ridiculous.

While we were there we got to see the new trolls collection, and all the staff were wearing products from the range and I have to say they looked fab! All the girls were so sweet and happy enough to explain the new launches to us.

The wonderful Sara, applied two of the lipsticks out of the hundreds I’d tested. They were both pinky nudes (my favourite) and it was just a decision of which one I liked best on me.

Of course I had the opinions of my sisters and cousin. I was so undecided, so asked Sara to try them on again with a lip liner.

After much deliberation I settled on the choice of ‘Spirit’ which has a satin finish and is a pinky nude with brown undertones.

Overall my experience there was really good, as I said all the girls were lovely. The made me feel comfortable and showed an interest in my blog. I can imagine it getting busy there, especially at peak trading times. Also I noticed a lot of young teens there and I’m sat there thinking ‘How the hell can you afford this stuff!?! Shouldn’t you be buying maybelline dream matte mouse and blue mascara?’ It is a little off putting to be honest.

The experience as a whole was great, and I would definitely go back to have a browse but to also have some help when choosing new products.
What’s your nearest MAC counter like? How has your experience been with them?
