Review – Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads

Over the last six months I have heard a lot about glycolic acid, and how it is good for resurfacing your skin and stimulating collagen. I had been researching which products were best for beginners to start acid toning with and after a lot of looking through the choices, I decided to try these Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads to start introducing glycolic acid into my skin care routine.

On first impressions I was pleased, they are pre-soaked cotton pads which makes them quick and simple to use. They come in a little tub which enables them to be easy to get out and they have a very pungent smell though I honestly quite like it.

The idea is that you sweep the cotton pads over your cleansed face and all the ingredients including the glycolic acid soak into your skin. It says you can use them twice a day; morning and night, however I have been using them just once in the morning as I didn’t want to overload my skin with something it was not used to.

I have definitely seen a difference over the last two months since I’ve been using them. My skin feels smoother and noticeably brighter. I will consider using these again, perhaps trying the night extreme pads. But for now I would love to try something a little different like the Pixi Glow Tonic.

I would definitely shop around before purchasing the glycolic pads as they vary from price to price depending on where you get them from. I got mine from Superdrug when they were on special offer.
