Getting creative with fonts
Digital media is something I love experimenting with. Since creating an online presence back in 2012, I have designed numerous blog headers, display pictures and social media posts and love getting creative with fonts.
When designing the posts, something I am always keen to switch up is fonts. Fonts can not only change the way a post looks media but put more emphasis onto certain words.
Recently adding new fonts has become easier, as I have been using font free styles from Design Bundles. This website offers hundreds of beautiful and unique fonts for free. It is so simple to use, you can try out the fonts and download them straight to your computer.

Simply scroll through the fonts and pick your favourites. Then click ‘Download Free Now’ and your file should automatically start downloading. Once it has downloaded, go to the file location and right click the zipped file and click ‘extract all’. Find the open type file and double click to open it. After it has opened, press the install button. Your chosen font is then installed and you can use them to create a variety of designs.
I have created 3 social media posts with my favourite quotes using different fonts. The fonts I have chosen are; baby brooklyn, simmer down and hey betty. Baby brooklyn is described as light and preppy. Simmer Down features a strong double line on vertical areas of the lettering. It still has a very handwritten feel about it while being more serious. Finally Hey Betty is a wonderful Brush Font, designed to give that ultra-modern
feel.

Ive also talked about Graphics, Templates, Mock Ups, Patterns, Illustrations and Craft Files, in my Easy Christmas decorations with Design Bundles post.
