Easy Christmas decorations with Design Bundles
Find out how to make Easy Christmas decorations with Design Bundles. The festive season is upon us, so what better time to start making Christmas decorations for you to keep for yourself or to give as gifts to your friends and family. This year I have been making a variety of decorations and for some of them I have used resources from Design Bundles.
Design bundles offer wide range of gorgeous affordable digital products such as Graphics, Templates, Mock Ups, Patterns, Illustrations and Craft Files. Once you’ve purchased your chosen design bundle, you can download your digital products. Design bundles keep your details safe so you can download your files an unlimited number of times. You will recieve the files in a number of different formats such as; SVG, DXF, EPS, PNG.
Now you have your graphics you can start using them to make Christmas decorations. I have used designs from Design Bundles ‘The Christmas Craft Bundle’
Christmas gift boxes
To make these I used little boxes and covered them with festive decoupage paper. I then printed out my chosen designs, cut to size and then used modpodge to stick it onto the front of the box and seal it in.
Decoupage is a crafting technique that typical uses cut or ripped pieces of paper which are then randomly glued onto an object to create a pattern.
Christmas sign
For this I used an old canvas and covered it with some festive cardboard for the background. I then used double sided sticky foam pads to raise my chosen design ontop of my background.
Christmas coasters
To make these coasters I used a piece of cork and cut it into four squares. Using my printed images for the size, I attached pieces of cardboard to the cork with superglue and then added the images with modpodge ontop and once again sealed it in.
I love the designs in the Christmas Craft Bundle. I will definitely be using some of them to make Christmas cards.
