Roaccutane Journey | Month 3

Over the past two months, I have had a nightmare with my skin. I can honestly say, I don’t wish this upon anyone but my skin was so dry and sensitive. My skin was dry, patchy and flaky, especially around my nose, chin and forehead. Though my lips were the worst. They were cracking and peeling and kept bleeding all the time. They were so sore, my lips constantly felt like they were on fire; they were burning.

The not so typical Christmas gift guide for her..

You cannot generalize women. This Christmas I’ve decided to show that the majority of Christmas gift guides for her (women/girls) are stereotypical. Not all females like the same things, we all have different likes and interests.

My sister, cousin and I, were all brought up very closely yet we are all completely different. In this post I will show you my Christmas list and then over the next few posts I’ll show you theirs.

Kiehl’s Cardiff Blogger Event

When I heard that the lovely Katie was organising a blogger event for the new Kiehl’s Cardiff store, I knew I had to go! Kiehl’s has always been a brand I have been longing to try but never had the chance to as there were no counters near where I live. I’d continuously hear the songs and praises from people using their products and was really intrigued to learn what knowledge of skincare they had.

Lush Swansea Christmas Event – #LushWinter2016

On Thursday I was lucky enough to attend Lush Swansea’s first blogger event! The event was based around the new Christmas collection and I got to experience it all with the blogging babes; Neesha, Ffion, Charlee and Holly, as well as new blogger Leanne and even Johny came too, now that he is addicted to Lush. I also got to have a quick catch up with Katie, who I hadn’t seen properly for 3 years, so that was nice.

Roaccutane Journey | Month 1

I have been taking Roaccutane for a month now and am going to share my experience so far.

When I started taking the tablets I knew my fattiest meal would be in the evening so decided that would be the best time to take them, however I found it hard to remember to take them and my boyfriend was always reminding me. I take my other tablets first thing in the morning and am in a routine doing that, so I just think it’s going to take time to get used to taking these tables with my meal.

Review – Proactiv+ Repairing Concealer

After trying the Proactiv+ 3 Step Skincare Range, I was really intrigued to try more of their products. I was kindly sent the Proactiv Repairing Concealer* to test out.

The Repairing Concealer is marketed so that you can treat your spots and the same time as hiding them. With salicylic acid in it, it’s targeted to treat each individual spot, as you apply the concealer to cover up the imperfections. This concealer is a quad and advertised so that you can customize the shades to match your skin tone.

Starting Roaccutane

I have suffered with spots since I was a teenager and have spoken about it previously on my blog, but have never really said how bad it effects my self esteem. When I look at myself in the mirror, bare skin, I feel like I want to claw my face off. I despise the way I look and it’s all down to spots. I always want to cover up face, I put tonnes of foundation on and just want to hide behind a mask.

#BigBloggerExpo | London Meet Up Event

On Sunday 24th July, I woke up early and headed on a lengthy journey to London, along with Charlee and Neesha.

Waking up at 5:30am and leaving Swansea Coach station at 7:00, we prepared ourselves for the exciting day ahead. The girls and I were heading to London for the #BigBloggerExpo event, held by Lauren and Abi. I was stoked to be going to such a great event, but also so pleased to be going to London. I hadn’t been since I was a little girl, so I was looking forward to seeing the different lifestyle aspect.
