I want to share a personal update with you, it is something which is a big step but I am very excited about!
As some of you may know, I decided to go back into education and start an Access to Healthcare course last September.
I must say, I was told it was an intense course, however nothing could prepare me for this. It’s bloody hard!
I am still plodding along with the course, there’s days when I am laying in bed sobbing over the coursework.. I am determined to make it to the end and finish the course though.
If anyone’s got tips on motivation, send them my way!
The last few months have been tough as well, because not only have I been attending college, I have started training for a new job. I am now a health care support worker. I have had to miss days off college and reschedule exams and assignment days to work around my training. Apart from that, I am really enjoying the training and have learn’t a lot already. It’s been great to be hands on.
As I have this new job, I have decided to hand in my notice to Asda. It will be sad to leave them, I will miss my colleagues and I appreciate all the support they have given me.
I would like to spend more time concentrating on my studies and focusing on this new job as it relates to my career path.
