#GetFeD | Super Summer Menu

FeD Cardiff is a restaurant where you can help yourself to loads of different food from different countries. When Johny and I arrived we were greeted by the lovely Anand, who showed us around the different food stations, explaining all our options and then took us to our table.

The different stations included; Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, salad bar, fresh stir fry, fresh fish, carvery, burgers and deserts.

I chose this amazing fruit crush mocktail from the Super Summer menu, and oh my this is the best thing I ever tasted!

We decided to each have a plate full of different items, we helped ourselves to loads of delicious food including; battered vegetables, lemon chicken, egg fried rice, samosa’s, pizza, lamb curry and burgers. Next up we decided to try the curries on the Super Summer menu.

I opted for chicken korma mild and Johny had chicken masala medium hot. We both agree that these were the best curries we have ever had. They were packed full of flavor but just the right combination of ingredients. The only issue was we never got our freshly made naan bread which I was really looking forward to. I think there was a communication area between staff. For desert we tried a couple of things but the best by far was the chocolate brownie and passion fruit yogurt, I swear Johny got addicted to that yogurt – he ate about 3.

The service was okay by some but not great by others. Anand was lovely and made us feel welcome, made sure we had everything we needed. We also had a good chat with him at the end. We asked one waitress for a jug of water, she wasn’t wearing a name badge but she didn’t end up coming back. Luckily Miriam went and got us some.

Overall I was really impressed with the food and experience at FeD. I really enjoyed the Super Summer menu, and definitely recommend it. For what you pay for it’s great the amount you can have. It is best for when you have a bunch of people who all have different tastes.
