Valentine Collab – Part 1 | Makeup Tutorial

Charlee from Rose Above The Thorns and I have decided to do a little collaboration together, where I will create a Valentine makeup look and she will put together a Valentine hair style tutorial. Then come closer to the date we will post some Valentine outfit ideas.

Don’t we all want to dazzle our lovers with our eyes on valentines?

Start off with your usual face makeup and prime your eyelids. To begin I used the shade Mythology from MAC as an all over the lid base. I then used the tiniest amount of Blackheart from the UD Naked 3 palette and placed that in the crease and outer V, and blended it very softly.

Next I used the shade Dust from the UD Naked 3 palette and lightly swept it across the inner and center of my eyelid. Lastly with eyeshadow I used my single UD shadow in the shade Space Cowboy and gently patted it onto the center of my lid.

I used my MAC kohl eyeliner in black to tight-line and placed it on my lower lashline. I used my Stila all day liquid eyeliner to create a feline flick and my Maybelline lash sensational for mascara.

To finish off the look I swished a little pink blusher over my cheeks using my Tarte amazonian clay 12 hour blush in the shade Dollface and a pop of lipstick using Patisserie from MAC.
